Leavitt Systems

Open systems, built to rise.

Leavitt Systems develops modular architectures for complex operating environments. We use open-source software, Modular Open Systems Approach principles, and clearly defined interfaces to create capabilities that remain interoperable, supportable, and ready to evolve.

Open foundations. Modular architecture. Persistent capability.

APPROACH

Open by design.

Most defense systems are closed by default: tied to a single vendor, costly to change, and slow to keep current. Leavitt Systems takes the opposite approach. We build on open standards and well-documented interfaces, so capability can be extended, upgraded, and integrated with what the mission already relies on, without starting over each time requirements shift.

CAPABILITIES

How we work.

Examine the premise

We test the assumptions around a system: its purpose, dependencies, interfaces, environment, and path for future growth.

Build on open foundations

Open-source software, MOSA principles, and open standards reduce unnecessary dependency and support technology insertion.

Define the interfaces

Stable, documented interfaces let components be added, replaced, or upgraded without rebuilding the entire system.

Design for evolution

We build architectures that adapt as requirements change, technologies mature, and operational conditions grow more demanding.

SYSTEMS

In development.

Purpose-built systems engineered on our open, modular approach for demanding operational environments.

SYSTEM

Leavitt 601

The Leavitt 601 is an autonomous drone system that launches from a standard shipping container, with self-sustaining onboard power that keeps it mission-ready and unattended for extended periods, no external infrastructure required.

SYSTEM

Leavitt 1202

The Leavitt 1202 is a containerized field node that combines persistent power, command and control, and a full drone field lab, keeping distributed operations equipped, directed, and mission-ready without fixed infrastructure.
